MISSION CHURCH
Calvary Baptist Church was pioneered by Missionary Steve Deal in April 6, 1996. The church began as a house-church in the Deal's home. Calvary Baptist Church recently celebrated it's 29th Anniversary on April 20, 2025 and still continues to stand for CHRIST and His Gospel.
The Gospel according to 1 Cor. 15:3,4 is the sacrificial death, burial and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ as atonement for our sins.

Church planting - Mission Church of CBCLI in Brgy. Calumpang, Tayabas City, Quezon led by Pastor Arnel. CBCLI is supporting Pastor Arnel and Lea through Faith Promise to Mission. They are having Bible Studies and children's ministry from different places and houses using The Story of Hope.

Our very own missionary in Leyte, Jo-ann, doing children's ministry (child evangelism) in her hometown at Mahaplag. Where she teaches these kids during Sunday school using the "The Story of Hope". CBCLI is supporting her through Faith Promise to Mission.

- We believe that the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation and God’s plan and purpose in the ages. (Genesis 1:1; 3:6,7; Psalm 32:8; 33:11; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; ll Peter3:9)
- We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (John 1:32-34; Titus 3:4-6; 1 John 5:7,8)
- We believe in the deity, virgin birth, substitutionary atonement, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. (John 3:16,36; 6:47; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; ll Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 4:4,5; Philippians 2:5,6)
- We believe God is sovereign and that in His sovereignty, He has ordained that man’s destiny depends on man’s choice. (Genesis 2:16,17; Deuteronomy 11:26-28; Joshua 24:15; Romans 8:28-39)
- We believe that salvation is “by grace,” plus nothing and minus nothing. The conditions to salvation are repentance and faith. (John 3:16; Romans 8:1; Ephesians 2:8,9)
- We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8; II Corinthians 5:2; Galatians 2:16,21; Hebrews 11:6)
- Justification establishes an eternal relationship that can never be broken. (Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Titus 3:5-7)
- We believe in the visible, personal and premillennial return of Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 9:28; Revelation 1:7)
- We believe in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost. (Luke 16:19-31; Revelation 20:14; 21:1,4,8)
Baptism is one of two ordinances of the local church; the other is The Lord's Supper. Baptism is for "Identification" and the Lord's Supper is for "Remembrance".
